UNFPA responds to emergencies in some of the world\u2019s poorest countries,\u00a0delivering life-saving sexual and reproductive health supplies and\u00a0services to protect the rights, safety and dignity of women and young\u00a0people affected by crises. In 2017, UNFPA reached 17 million people in\u00a058 countries with humanitarian assistance.<\/p>\n
UNFPA is the global manager of emergency reproductive health kits.\u00a0Prepackaged and ready for immediate dispatch to meet urgent requests,\u00a0they range from a one-woman kit for clean delivery to referral-level\u00a0kits to serve 150,000 people over three months.<\/p>\n
