Prevention remains the\u00a0cornerstone of control of foodborne viruses. This is because these viruses are\u00a0environmentally persistent and resistant to many treatments commonly used\u00a0to inactivate foodborne pathogens. Effective inactivation methods continue to\u00a0be needed and are continuously being evaluated.<\/p>\n<p>Based on the above situation, the Expert Committee: 1) reviewed the relevant\u00a0scientific literature;
