TAP is an open-access, online platform hosting modular courses on a range of health topics, including assistive technology and sensory functions (vision and hearing). The aim of TAP is to strengthen the health and care workforce in primary care and community settings to improve access to health services closer to people’s homes. TAP reflects the WHO commitment to universal health coverage, in which knowledge and skills are a vital resource – freely available and accessible to all, not just a privileged few.

The User Guide is intended for anyone who is planning to use TAP modules to deliver learning to a group, for example focal points from ministries (e.g. health, social protection, education), health facility
managers, educators, school teams, or nongovernmental or civil society organizations. The guide gives the background to the TAP learning approach, content and how to plan and deliver
TAP learning. Additional resources mentioned within this Guide are available on the TAP platform. For example, templates for planning and delivery. Contact the relevant WHO team using
the TAP Contact form (https://www.gate-tap.org/contact/) for any additional questions on adapting and delivering TAP.

WHO Team

Access to Assistive Technology and Medical Devices (ATM),

Access to Medicines and Health Products (MHP),

Assistive Technology (ATA),

Health Product Policy and Standards (HPS)

Editors

World Health Organization

Number of pages

44

Reference numbers

ISBN: 978-92-4-011834-8

Copyright

Source link

Download (5.2 MB) Overview Learning on TAP (TAP for short) is a blended learning resource developed by WHO and is part of the WHO Academy: https://whoacademy.org/TAP/.
