The Emergency Ready Primary Health Care (ERPHC) Operational Guide<\/strong> provides practical, step\u2011by\u2011step guidance to support countries in implementing the ERPHC Framework. It translates the framework\u2019s core capacities\u2014connect, detect, protect and treat<\/strong>\u2014into actionable processes, tools and implementation pathways that can be adapted to different risks, contexts and health system structures.<\/p>\n

Drawing on lessons from multi\u2011country implementation, the guide supports ministries of health and partners to assess readiness, prioritize interventions, co\u2011create country\u2011specific strategies and embed emergency preparedness into routine PHC planning, management and service delivery. Through a flexible, non\u2011prescriptive approach, the operational guide helps strengthen frontline performance, integrate essential public health functions and build sustainable emergency readiness within primary health care systems\u2014without creating parallel structures.<\/p>\n
