{"id":9575,"date":"2026-07-17T17:48:51","date_gmt":"2026-07-17T17:48:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/godshand.link\/ground_post\/amendment-62-new-opportunity-a-13-accelerating-earth-solutions\/"},"modified":"2026-07-17T17:48:51","modified_gmt":"2026-07-17T17:48:51","slug":"amendment-62-new-opportunity-a-13-accelerating-earth-solutions","status":"publish","type":"ground_post","link":"https:\/\/godshand.link\/en_gb\/ground_post\/amendment-62-new-opportunity-a-13-accelerating-earth-solutions\/","title":{"rendered":"Amendment 62: New Opportunity: A.13 Accelerating Earth Solutions"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div xmlns:default=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/2000\/svg\" id=\"post-1257410\">\n<div xmlns:default=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/2000\/svg\" class=\"entry-content\">\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/nspires.nasaprs.com\/external\/solicitations\/summary.do?solId=%7b33D1A64A-D7B2-199F-7E02-90E363FB86BC%7d&amp;path=&amp;method=init\">A.13 Accelerating Earth Solutions (AES)<\/a> seeks to accelerate the use of Earth-observing satellite measurements in decision-making.<\/p>\n<p>Proposals are sought in three general areas:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Needs and Opportunities: Identifying critical issues and potential solutions;\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Solutions Development: Developing solutions for deployment; and\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Scaling Impact: Scaling the reach and utilization of existing solutions.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Market Discovery proposals are limited to one (1) year in duration. Solutions Accelerator proposals may span up to three (3) years, and the Force Multiplier proposals may span across two (2) years. Proposals that are eligible to go beyond the first year will undergo a mandatory review of progress and impact to determine continued funding.<\/p>\n<p>Priority will be given to:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Topics aligned with United States resilience, resources, economic growth, health, and security;<\/li>\n<li>Increasing the use of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML);<\/li>\n<li>Crossing boundaries across Earth Action thematic areas (see Section 2);<\/li>\n<li>Transforming recent advancements in basic research or satellite remote sensing into solutions that address societal challenges;<\/li>\n<li>Solutions based on data from any of NASA\u2019s Earth observing missions, especially NISAR, PACE, and SWOT; and<\/li>\n<li>Combined approaches using NASA\u2019s and other publicly available satellite data with commercial satellite data available under the NASA <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.earthdata.nasa.gov\/about\/csda\">CSDA program<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Proposed topics must address pressing national challenges and may fall under, but are not limited to, any of the current thematic areas of NASA\u2019s Earth Action program of agriculture, disasters, natural resources, health and air quality, water, wildland fire, energy, and infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p>ROSES-2025 Amendment 62 releases <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/nspires.nasaprs.com\/external\/solicitations\/summary.do?solId=%7b33D1A64A-D7B2-199F-7E02-90E363FB86BC%7d&amp;path=&amp;method=init\">A.13 AES<\/a> as a new opportunity in ROSES-25. Proposals are due October 15, 2026. A pre-proposal teleconference will be held on approximately 6 weeks after the release of the program element on a no-advance-reservation, first-to-dial-in basis.
