Overview <\/h3>\n

The purpose of the regional manual, along with the operating guides, is to provide foundational
\ninformation on key biomedical aspects of maintaining respiratory care equipment and respiratory care
\necology in the South-East (SE) Asia Region Member States. The guides will not necessarily provide
\ncomprehensive instructions (the user and service manuals should always be the primary source for
\nthis information), but will rather offer users an understanding of the level of expertise required to
\ninstal the devices, as well as the types and frequency of maintenance interventions they may demand.
\nThese guides will help biomedical engineers and technicians, as well as other professionals working in
\nbiomedical areas such as managers, electricians, plumbers and mechanics, to perform routine tasks
\nto improve efficiency and compliance with quality standards, and standardize processes.<\/p>\n
