Overview
The Republic of Korea–WHO Country Cooperation Strategy 2026–2030 sets a
renewed framework for collaboration. Building on the successes of the
2019–2023 country cooperation strategy (CCS), it defines key areas where the
Republic of Korea’s expertise and resources contribute to the achievement of
strategic goals of the World Health Organization (WHO) in global health security,
health equity and climate resilience across the Western Pacific Region and
beyond. It also describes key areas where WHO can contribute to addressing the
Republic of Korea’s evolving health challenges, including through policy dialogue,
strengthening the primary health-care system and workforce sustainability, and
enhancing mental health systems.
