Regional manual with operating guides on respiratory care equipment and devices

Overview

The purpose of the regional manual, along with the operating guides, is to provide foundational
information on key biomedical aspects of maintaining respiratory care equipment and respiratory care
ecology in the South-East (SE) Asia Region Member States. The guides will not necessarily provide
comprehensive instructions (the user and service manuals should always be the primary source for
this information), but will rather offer users an understanding of the level of expertise required to
instal the devices, as well as the types and frequency of maintenance interventions they may demand.
These guides will help biomedical engineers and technicians, as well as other professionals working in
biomedical areas such as managers, electricians, plumbers and mechanics, to perform routine tasks
to improve efficiency and compliance with quality standards, and standardize processes.
