Overview
The Report of the Regional Director: The Work of WHO in the Western Pacific Region, 1 July 2025 – 30 June 2026, highlights progress achieved through the collective efforts of Member States, communities, partners and the WHO Secretariat. Against a backdrop of intersecting challenges, including rising noncommunicable and infectious diseases, climate-related threats and economic pressures, countries advanced action across the five priorities of the regional vision, Weaving Health for Families, Communities and Societies. The report showcases achievements in health security, climate resilience, oral health, alcohol control and One Health, while emphasizing the need for stronger, more equitable and resilient health systems.
